Jose Blanco from Aurora presented an outstanding seminar on the blending of tobacco to make fine hand rolled cigars.

There was a lot to learn.  Jose handed out four FREE petite coronas each rolled with only one kind of leaf.  It gave us a great chance to experience side - by - side comparison of the different flavor profiles of each leaf.

Jose, who has been in the business over 30 years, admits to being a student of tobacco.  There is certainly much to learn.  The seminar proved that though we are far from experts we are aficianados. 

The event was well attended and many of us now know why we like the cigars we do and also what kind of leaf is used to blend our favorite cigar profile.  Now we can try new cigars with less risk of getting a dog rocket.
